The blood type diet, sometimes called the biotype diet, is based on the idea that your blood type — A, B, AB or O — should determine your diet, your exercise regimen and your medical choices. This reaction is caused by a factor called Lectins. Lectins, abundant and diverse proteins found in foods, have agglutinating properties that affect your blood.
